ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Laura Hardin, a Graphic Designer based in Cullowhee, NC. I specialize in brand identity, product design, and promotions. My designs are made to be a creative powerhouse dedicated to transforming imaginative concepts into visually stunning realities. Specializing in graphic design, I want to bring forth a rich portfolio of compelling visual narratives that breathe life into branding, advertising, and editorial ventures.
Having graduated from Western Carolina University with my bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing, I've worked on projects ranging from brand identity concepts to promotional flyers and digital billboards. My work focuses on bringing out the character and their personality with each and every design I make.

Who am I?
My life story
Growing up in the small town of Trinity, North Carolina, I grew up with one thing in mind. Design. Design in itself was a vague concept to me as a kid, in which I didn't really have a specific niche that I was interested in. All I knew was that one, certain art styles called out to me more than others, and two, some designs sucked and I NEEDED to fix them in any way I could. Which led towards a path where I discovered the marketing design world and all it has to offer. I dedicated a majority of my time in my high school years to understanding the ins and outs of marketing and the visual arts.
But as everyone knows, something always comes up in our high school life that can sometimes set us down a path we don't even know we're walking down. COVID-19, during the pandemic, I was left to online schooling and the sanctuary of my bedroom for the remainder of my senior year of high school and the first year and a half in community college. But what does COVID-19 have to do with where I'm at now? well it's simple, it changed my outlook on what design can really do and the outreach it has on people during rough and uncertain times. it was an outlet to connect, reminisce, and express emotion. And from then on, I made sure to replicate that same feeling with each design project I worked on.
